Community Labor Skills Survey

Business Retention Survey

Studies have consistently demonstrated that eighty percent of the growth in most communities results from expansions of existing local businesses. As a business owner or manager in Port Arthur, you are an essential factor in the success of our local economy.

Since much of our city's future development depends on your capacity to thrive and expand, it is important to better understand your perceptions, concerns and plans for doing business in Port Arthur. The past several years have been challenging ones on a national economic level, as well as locally. We want to hear about the lessons you've learned so we can more effectively work on your behalf towards stabilizing the City of Port Arthur economy and planning for growth.

The purpose of this survey is to learn more about companies in the City of Port Arthur and about ways the Port Arthur EDC and Chamber of Commerce can best support our existing companies. In addition to learning information that will help in planning programs and services for area companies, your responses will enable us to identify ways in which we can support your specific company. This survey is being conducted as a part of an EDC business expansion and retention program.

All individual responses to this survey will be held in strict confidence.
